Joe Bob moved to Durango in 1980 after an extensive search throughout the West for a quality mountain town to replace his hometown of Ruidoso, New Mexico. Within his criteria, he required more mountains, more water (for fishing), close to a dominant ski area, a college, and a major sporting town with a great climate and lots of sunshine. Durango, Colorado was the perfect fit - and he's been here ever since.

In 1985, Joe Bob was drafted as the first agent of The Wells Group. He married Dana in November of 1993. Together they have built a life of happiness and success that continues to grow. Along with their children, Demar and Bailey, they enjoy the many activities offered by the incredible mountains and deserts of Southwest Colorado.

Over the years, as a top Broker Associate, Joe Bob has played a significant part in the success of The Wells Group and Western Angling Properties. These entities have enabled him to enjoy and share the magnificent fishing waters, ranches, and premier properties of the area.
